CERTINATOR GUIDE

Generate certificates from a CSV list

Prepare recipient columns, map the CSV, and review a browser batch before downloading.

Before you start

A UTF-8 CSV with recipient names. Prepare issuer, course, and date details in the maker before starting.

Steps

  1. Open the certificate maker and set the design and shared certificate details.
  2. Go to the CSV batch section. Use the sample list to inspect the expected format before supplying real data.
  3. Select your CSV and map the recipient name column. Use the displayed mappings for other supported fields.
  4. Review the parsed rows and correct missing names or malformed rows. Browser batches accept up to 20 recipients per operation.
  5. Generate the batch and download the result. For reusable contact records and issuance, import contacts through the workspace Recipients page instead.

What to keep in mind

A 20-person batch uses 20 certificates of generation allowance. A batch limit is not a monthly allowance. Local browser downloads do not automatically email recipients or publish public records.
